سالم بن هذيل: ذكر الأردبيلي في جامعه أنه روى عن أبي جعفر، وروى عنه حماد بن عثمان، التهذيب، باب صفة الوضوء والاستبصار، باب وجوب المسح على الرجلين. ولكنه سهو جزما، فإن الموجود في التهذيب: الحديث 177، وفي الاستبصار: الحديث 189، كل منهما في الجزء الأول: حماد بن عثمان، عن سالم وغالب بن هذيل، عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام، وعليه فلا وجود لسالم بن هذيل أصلا.
