I was writing the book (which contained the Qur’an) from Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, and she said: If you reach this verse, then write: «Maintain the prayers, and (in particular) the middle prayer and the prayer of the afternoon». (2:238)

I complained to God’s Prophet (MGB) about those who envied me. The Prophet (MGB) said, ‘O Ali! Are you not happy that the first ones who go to Heaven are me and you. Then our offspring will enter from the back. Then our followers will come from the right and left.’”

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever loves `Ali in his life and after his death, Allah shall safeguard him from everything that the Sun rises and sets upon. He who hates him in his life and after his death shall die the death of Jahiliyya and be held accountable for what he did.

Do you know what is the interpretation of «Hasten to the best of deeds»? I said: No. He said: He has called you to loyalty. Do you know loyalty to whom? I said: No. He said: He has called you to loyalty to Fatima and her sons, peace be upon them.

Prophet (s) said: For anyone who loves Ali in his lifetime and after his death, Allah will grant him security and faith as long as the sun rises and sets. Anyone who hates Ali in his lifetime and after his death will die as if he has never been Muslim and will be called to account for his deeds.

Aisha ordered me to write for her a book (containing the Qur’an), and she said: If you reach this verse, then write: «Maintain the prayers, and (in particular) the middle prayer and the prayer of the afternoon», and stand before Allah, devoutly obedient.» (2:238) Then Aisha said: I heard it, by Allah, from the Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family.

The Messenger of Allah (s) came out to us on the eve of `Arafat and said: Surely, Allah has dignified and forgiven you all in general, and `Ali in particular. Surely, I am the Messenger of Allah to you rather than [just] a lover of my relatives. Gabriel here informs me that all true happiness is for one who loves `Ali in his life and after his death, and that all true wretchedness is for one who hates `Ali in his life and after his passing.

the Adhan at his presence and said: When the Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, was journeyed to Heaven, he reached the Sixth Heaven, an Angel, descended from the Seventh Heaven, who has never descended before that day, and he said: Allah is the Greater, Allah is the Greater. Then Allah, Glorified be His Glory, said: I am as such. Then he said: I testify that there is no god but Allah. Then Allah, Glorified be His Glory, said: I am as such, there is no god but Me. Then he said: I testify that Muhammed is the Messenger of Allah. Allah, Glorified be His Glory, said: My Servant and Trustee upon My creation, I selected him over My servants for My Message. Then he said: Hasten to prayer. Allah, Glorified be His Glory, said: I have made it obligatory upon My servants, and I have made it to Myself a debt. Then he said: Hasten to success. Allah, Glorified be His Glory, said: Successful shall be the one who walks to it and perseveres it for the sake of My Face. Then he said: Hasten to the best of deeds. Allah, Glorified be His Glory, said: It is the best of deeds and the most pure of it to Me. Then he said: Verily, the prayer has been established. Then the Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, came forward and lead the people of Heaven (in prayer), and from that day, the esteem of the Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, was completed.

Everything in this book that is narrated from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Saffar - may Allah (swt) have mercy on him - has been transmitted by me from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan ibn Ahmad ibn Al-Walid - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Saffar.

And whatever is narrated from Al-Mithami, I have narrated it from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Ṣaffar, from Yaʿqub ibn Yazid, from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan ibn Ziyad, from Ahmad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Mithami.

And whatever is narrated from Muawiyah ibn Hakim, I have narrated it from my father and from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with them - from Saʿd ibn Abdullah, from Muawiyah ibn Hakim. And I have also narrated it from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Ṣaffar, from Muawiyah ibn Hakim.

And whatever is narrated from Abu Al-Jawzaʾ, I have narrated it from my father and from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with them - from Saʿd ibn Abdullah, from Abu Al-Jawzaʾ Al-Munabbih ibn Abdullah. And I have also narrated it from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Ṣaffar, from Abu Al-Jawzaʾ.

“Those who are biased have removed the necklace of Islam from their necks and thrown it away.”

“I like reciting this Tasbih every day after Salaat more than offering a thousand rakats of prayer daily.”

Everything in this book that is narrated from Muhammad ibn Khalid Al-Barqi has been transmitted by me from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan Al-Saffar, from Muhammad ibn Khalid Al-Barqi.

“The Almighty Allah will assemble the bigots along with the ignorant polytheists.”

One who recites Ayatal Kursi before going to bed would remain safe of Paralysis and one recites it after every Salaat no poison would harm him.”

Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, forbade the eating of clay. I was told of that by Muhammed bin Hasan, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: We were told by Muhammed bin Hasan al-Saffar, from Ahmad bin Abi Abdillah.
