رحيم بن الأمير: قال الأردبيلي في جامعه، الجزء (1) باب الراء: " رحيم بن الأمير محمد مؤمن العقيلي الاسترآبادي: سيد من ساداتنا، جليل القدر، عظيم المنزلة، رفيع الشأن، ثقة، ثبت، وجه، فاضل، كامل، متبحر، عالم بالعلوم العقلية والنقلية، حسن البشر، كريم الخلق، جامع لجميع الخصال الحسنة، مشفق بفقراء الطلاب والمؤمنين ساع في حوائجهم وإدخال السرور عليهم، جزاه الله تبارك وتعالى أحسن جزاء المحسنين وأدام بقاءه وظلاله على رؤس المؤمنين إلى يوم الدين، تلميذ الفاضل الكامل الرضي الزكي المشهور في الآفاق بآقا حسين الخوانساري قدس الله روحه الشريف ".
