داود بن الحسن: ابن الحسن بن علي بن أبي طالب عليهم السلام، المدني: من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، رجال الشيخ (2). وذكر غير واحد أن الصادق عليه السلام، علم أمه دعاء لاستخلاصه من الحبس وهو الدعاء المعروف بعمل أم داود. روى عن أبي العباس البقباق، وروى عنه أحمد بن محمد بن أبي نصر. الكافي: الجزء 6، كتاب الزي والتجمل 8، باب اتخاذ الشعر والفرق 33، الحديث 1. كذا في هذه الطبعة والمرآة أيضا، ولكن في الطبعة القديمة داود بن الحصين، وهو الصحيح.
