خالد بن الوليد: من أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله، رجال الشيخ (1). ومخازيه مشهورة في كتب الفريقين، منها: ما يأتي في ترجمة سفيان الثوري من أنه أمر بقتل علي عليه السلام! لكن أبا بكر ندم، فنهاه عن ذلك. ومنها: ما يأتي في ترجمة عمار بن ياسر من أنه شكا خالدا إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله، فقال صلى الله عليه وآله: من يعادي عمارا يعاديه الله ومن يبغض عمارا يبغضه الله ومن سبه سب الله.
