“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’If one likes to increase his seed and children he should eat endives very often.’”

10 – Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Khālid b. Muḥammad b. ʿAlī, al-Barqī, known by the kunya of Abū Jaʿfar. The Qummis spoke against him, but the defamation is not about him. The defamation was only with regards to whom he narrated from, for he was not mindful of whom he took from, upon the manner of the people of reports (ahl al-akhbār). Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. ʿĪsā banished him from Qum, but he brought him back later and apologized to him.

“A man entered Masjid al-Haram in the state of Ihram and began performing Tawaf with a shirt and a gown on him. People went to him and tore his shirt, but he stood firm. Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saw him when people were tearing his shirt. He (the Imam) asked him about how he has done it. He said, ‘I assumed the state of Ihram like this in my shirt and gown.’ He (the Imam) told him to remove it from the direction of his head. ‘One like him is not required to remove it from the direction of his legs. He did not know (the rule).’ Another one came and asked him (the Imam), ‘What do you say about a man who assumes the state of Ihram in his shirt?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘He must remove it from the direction of his head.’” (Fatwa best explains this Hadith)
