hadith 975
5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs al-Bakhtariy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Settlement by means of mutual agreement is permissible for people.’”
5- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
الصُّلْحُ جَائِزٌ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ.

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il al-Sarraj from Hafs ibn ‘Umar from a man who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘High prices worsens moral discipline, destroy trust and cause suffering to the Muslims.’”
6- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ السَّرَّاجِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
غَلاءُ السِّعْرِ يُسِي‏ءُ الْخُلُقَ وَيُذْهِبُ الأمَانَةَ وَيُضْجِرُ الْمَرْءَ الْمُسْلِمَ.

Hadith.3732 - Hafs ibn Al-Bakhtari narrated from Al-Husayn ibn Al-Mundhir who said
I said to Abu Abdillah (as), "My wife gave me money to use as I wish. Can I buy a bondwoman with her money and have relations with her?" Imam (as) said: "No. She gave it to you to bring comfort to her eyes, and you intend to cause her distress."
3732 - وَ رَوَى حَفْصُ بْنُ اَلْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ اَلْمُنْذِرِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ دَفَعَتْ إِلَيَّ اِمْرَأَتِي مَالاً أَعْمَلُ بِهِ مَا شِئْتُ فَأَشْتَرِي مِنْ مَالِهَا اَلْجَارِيَةَ أَطَأُهَا قَالَ "لاَ إِنَّمَا دَفَعَتْ إِلَيْكَ لِتَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَ أَنْتَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تُسْخِنَ عَيْنَهَا".

hadith 628
Hadith.3745 - Muyassir narrated from Hafs, from Abu Abdillah (as), who said
I said to him, "A man intends to be honest, but when he measures, he does not measure accurately." He (as) asked: "What do those around him say?" I said: "They say he does not give full measure." He (as) said: "He is among those who should not be measuring."
3745 - وَ رَوَى مُيَسِّرٌ عَنْ حَفْصٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ نِيَّتِهِ اَلْوَفَاءُ وَ هُوَ إِذَا كَالَ لَمْ يُحْسِنْ أَنْ يَكِيلَ فَقَالَ "مَا يَقُولُ اَلَّذِينَ حَوْلَهُ" قَالَ قُلْتُ يَقُولُونَ لاَ يُوفِي قَالَ "هُوَ مِمَّنْ لاَ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَكِيلَ".

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy from Khalid ibn al-Hajjaj who has said the following
“About the case of a man who buys foodstuff of a certain town, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If the foodstuff of a certain town exactly is not mentioned he can give it from anywhere he likes . 555
11- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام)
فِي الرَّجُلِ يَشْتَرِي طَعَامَ قَرْيَةٍ بِعَيْنِهَا وَإِنْ لَمْ يُسَمِّ لَهُ طَعَامَ قَرْيَةٍ بِعَيْنِهَا أَعْطَاهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ شَاءَ.

hadith 522
4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs al-Bakhtariy who has said the following
“Once an agent of abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), borrowed a certain amount of food (grain) for abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.). The lender insistently demanded replacement. He (the Imam) said to his agent, ‘Did I not prohibit you the borrowing from one who did not have anything (who has) just then come to own something?”’
4- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ قَالَ
اسْتَقْرَضَ قَهْرَمَانٌ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) مِنْ رَجُلٍ طَعَاماً لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فَأَلَحَّ فِي التَّقَاضِي فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَلَمْ أَنْهَكَ أَنْ تَسْتَقْرِضَ لِي مِمَّنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ فَكَانَ.

hadith 716
1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn Suwqah from al- Husayn ibn al-Mundhir who has said the following
“I once said to abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘A man comes to me and asks for ‘Aynah. I then buy for him the merchandise in the manner of Murabahah (capital plus profit) then sell it to him, then buy it from him at the same place. He (the Imam) said, Tf he has the choice to sell if he likes or not to sell and you also have the choice to buy if you like or do not buy if you do not like, it is not unlawful.’ I then said, ‘People of the Masjid think it is not valid. They say, “If he brings it after few months it is valid.’” He (the Imam) said, ‘This is making early what is later and late what is early and it is not unlawful.’”
1- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَجِيئُنِي الرَّجُلُ فَيَطْلُبُ الْعِينَةَ فَأَشْتَرِي لَهُ الْمَتَاعَ مُرَابَحَةً ثُمَّ أَبِيعُهُ إِيَّاهُ ثُمَّ أَشْتَرِيهِ مِنْهُ مَكَانِي قَالَ فَقَالَ إِذَا كَانَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ بَاعَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ لَمْ يَبِعْ وَكُنْتَ أَنْتَ أَيْضاً بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شِئْتَ اشْتَرَيْتَ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ لَمْ تَشْتَرِ فَلا بَأْسَ قَالَ قُلْتُ فَإِنَّ أَهْلَ الْمَسْجِدِ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ هَذَا فَاسِدٌ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنْ جَاءَ بِهِ بَعْدَ أَشْهُرٍ صَلَحَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذَا تَقْدِيمٌ وَتَأْخِيرٌ فَلا بَأْسَ بِهِ.

hadith 587
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from and Ali ibn Muhammad al-Qasaniy all have narrated from al-Qasim ibn Yahya from Sulayman ibn Dawud from Hafs ibn Ghiyath who has narrated the following
“Once a man asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘If I see something in the hand of a man can I testify that it belongs to him?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, you can do so.’ The man then said, ‘I can testify that it is in his hand but how can I testify that it belongs to him, perhaps it belongs to someone else ? 5 He (the Imam) asked, ‘Is it lawful to buy it from him?’ The man replied, ‘Yes, it is lawful to buy it from him.’ Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), then said, ‘It perhaps belongs to someone else; then how it becomes lawful for you to buy it from him and how can it become of your belongings? How after taking possession can you say that it belongs to you, you can swear and it would be unlawful to ascribe its ownership to one from whose possession its ownership is transferred to you?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Had it been as you said, the Muslims could never establish a market.”’
1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَاسَانِيِّ جَمِيعاً عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا رَأَيْتُ شَيْئاً فِي يَدَيْ رَجُلٍ أَيَجُوزُ لِي أَنْ أَشْهَدَ أَنَّهُ لَهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ فِي يَدِهِ وَلا أَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ لَهُ فَلَعَلَّهُ لِغَيْرِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَفَيَحِلُّ الشِّرَاءُ مِنْهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فَلَعَلَّهُ لِغَيْرِهِ فَمِنْ أَيْنَ جَازَ لَكَ أَنْ تَشْتَرِيَهُ وَيَصِيرَ مِلْكاً لَكَ ثُمَّ تَقُولَ بَعْدَ الْمِلْكِ هُوَ لِي وَتَحْلِفَ عَلَيْهِ وَلا يَجُوزُ أَنْ تَنْسِبَهُ إِلَى مَنْ صَارَ مِلْكُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِهِ إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) لَوْ لَمْ يَجُزْ هَذَا لَمْ يَقُمْ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ سُوقٌ.
