الحسين بن مظفر: قال الشيخ منتجب الدين في فهرسته: " الشيخ الامام محي الدين أبو عبد الله الحسين بن مظفر بن علي الهمداني: نزيل قزوين، ثقة، وجه، كبير. قرأ على شيخنا الموفق أبي جعفر الطوسي جميع تصانيفه مدة ثلاثين سنة بالغري على ساكنه السلام، وله تصانيف منها: هتك أستار الباطنية، وكتاب نصرة الحق، وكتاب لؤلؤة التفكر في المواعظ والزواجر، أخبرنا بها السيد أبو البركات المشهدي عنه ". أقول: فيما ذكره سهو ظاهر، فان الشيخ لم يسكن النجف بهذا المبلغ من الزمان جزما، كما ستعرفه في ترجمته.
