الحسين بن علي بن محمد: قال الشيخ الحر في أمل الآمل (70): " الشيخ حسين بن علي بن محمد الحر العاملي المشغري عم مؤلف هذا الكتاب: كان فاضلا، عالما، فصيحا، شاعرا صالحا، سافر إلى أصفهان وأسكنه شيخنا البهائي في داره، وكان يقرأ عنده حتى مات شيخنا البهائي مات بعده بمدة يسيرة. يروى عن الشيخ بهاء الدين وأروي عن والدي عنه، وكان الشهيد الثاني جده لامه لأنه ابن بنت الشيخ الحسن، وكذا أخوه الشيخ محمد الحر، ويأتي.
