الحسين بن سعيد: روى عن جعفر بن محمد عليه السلام، وروى عنه أحمد بن قتيبة. التهذيب: الجزء 6، باب فضل الغسل للزيارة، الحديث 127. كذا في الطبعة القديمة والوسائل والوافي أيضا، وقد طبق هذا الأردبيلي - قدس سره - على الحسين بن سعيد بن حماد حيث ذكر ذلك في ضمن رواياته ولكنه غيره جزما، فإن الحسين بن سعيد بن حماد يعد من أصحاب الهادي عليه السلام، فكيف يمكن روايته عن أبي عبد الله جعفر بن محمد عليه السلام، فهو يحتمل اتحاده مع لاحقه، كما يحتمل أن يكون غيره من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام وإن لم يذكر في كتب الرجال.
