hadith 2229
5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Ali from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al- Sayrafiy from ’Isma‘il ibn ‘Abd al-Khaliq who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Washing the head with marshmallow plant is a protective charm.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْخَالِقِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
غَسْلُ الرَّأْسِ بِالْخِطْمِيِّ نُشْرَةٌ .

(13) Muhammad bin Hammam narrated from Ja’far bin Muhammad bin Malik from al-Hasan bin Muhammad as-Sayrafi from Yahya bin al-Muthanna al-Attar from Abdullah bin Bukayr from Obayd bin Zurara that Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (as) had said
“People will miss an imam. He attends the seasons (of hajj). He sees the people but they do not see him.”
13 - حدثنا محمد بن همام قال: حدثنا جعفر بن محمد بن مالك، قال: حدثني الحسن بن محمد الصيرفي قال: حدثني يحيى بن المثنى العطار، عن عبد الله بن بكير، عن عبيد بن زرارة، عن أبي عبد الله
أنه قال: يفتقدُ الناس إماماً يشهد المواسمَ يراهُم ولا يرونه.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya and al-Hassan ibn Muhammad have narrated from Ja’far ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Sayrafi from Ja’far ibn Muhammad al-Sayqal from his father from Mansur who has said the following.
“Abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) said to me, “O Mansur, this matter (the rise of al-Mahdi with Divine Authority) will not come to you before despair, and not, by Allah, before (your good ones are) distinguished (from evil ones) and not, by Allah, before you are refined and not, by Allah, before tuning to misfortune of those who act in evil and before reaching salvation of those who seek salvation.”
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْقَلِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ
قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَا مَنْصُورُ إِنَّ هَذَا الامْرَ لا يَأْتِيكُمْ إِلا بَعْدَ إِيَاسٍ وَلا وَالله حَتَّى تُمَيَّزُوا وَلا وَالله حَتَّى تُمَحَّصُوا وَلا وَالله حَتَّى يَشْقَى مَنْ يَشْقَى وَيَسْعَدَ مَنْ يَسْعَدُ.

hadith 887
1. Muhammad ibn Yahya and al-Hassan ibn Muhammad both have narrated from Ja’far ibn Muhammad al-Kufi from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Sayrafi from Salih ibn Khalid from Yaman al-Tammar who has said the following.
“Once we were in the presence of abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) and he said to us, “The in charge of this task (Leadership with Divine Authority) will disappear from public sight. At that time following one’s religion would like wiping the thorns of cactus plant with one’s bare. The Imam (a.s.) made certain hand gestures. Who among you is ready to hold in his hands a branch of cactus? He then remained quite for a little while and then said, “The in charge of this task (Leadership with Divine Authority) will disappear from public sight. A servant (of Allah) must maintain piety before Him and hold fast to His religion,”
1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ جَمِيعاً عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكُوفِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ يَمَانٍ التَّمَّارِ قَالَ
كُنَّا عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) جُلُوساً فَقَالَ لَنَا إِنَّ لِصَاحِبِ هَذَا الامْرِ غَيْبَةً الْمُتَمَسِّكُ فِيهَا بِدِينِهِ كَالْخَارِطِ لِلْقَتَادِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا بِيَدِهِ فَأَيُّكُمْ يُمْسِكُ شَوْكَ الْقَتَادِ بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ أَطْرَقَ مَلِيّاً ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ لِصَاحِبِ هَذَا الامْرِ غَيْبَةً فَلْيَتَّقِ الله عَبْدٌ وَلْيَتَمَسَّكْ بِدِينِهِ.
