حبيب الله بن الحسين: قال الشيخ الحر في أمل الآمل (42): " السيد ميرزا حبيب الله بن الحسين ابن الحسن الحسيني الموسوي العاملي الكركي، كان عالما جليل القدر، عظيم الشأن، كثير العلم، والعمل، سافر إلى أصفهان، وتقرب عند الملوك، حتى جعلوه صدر العلماء والأمراء، وأولاده وأبوه وجده كانوا فضلاء، يأتي ذكر بعضهم، وتقدم ذكر أخيه: السيد أحمد، وكانا معاصرين لشيخنا البهائي، وقابلا عنده الحديث ". (انتهى). ولكن ذكر الشيخ النوري، في الجزء الثالث من المستدرك ص 355، عن صاحب رياض العلماء الاعتراض عليه واستنكار عده وجماعة أخرى، من أجلة العلماء، وأنه قال: إن هذا يورث الوهن في سائر من أوردها.
