جمال الدين: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (148): " السيد جمال الدين بن عبد القادر الحسيني، البحراني، فاضل، صالح، شاعر، أديب، ماهر، معاصر، ومن شعره ما كتبه إلي من أبيات: أمولاي ها أنا ذا عبدكم * ومن بأياديك طوقته وأغنيته بجزيل العطاء * وللبر واللطف عودته وأعلنت من فضله كامنا * وأعليت قدرا ووقرته وعدت جميلا وأنجزته * وأوليت برا وواليته فكيف بك الآن أبعدته * وقد كنت من قبل قربته؟! "
