جعيد همدان: من أصحاب علي (عليه السلام)، من اليمن، ذكره البرقي. وذكره الشيخ في رجاله (5)، ولكنه قال: جعدة، همداني كوفي، وقد تقدم. والظاهر أنه من غلط النسخة بقرينة ما ذكره البرقي، وقوله - قدس سره - عنه عده من أصحاب الحسن (عليه السلام) (2)، والحسين (عليه السلام) (7): جعيد الهمداني، وعند عده من أصحاب السجاد (عليه السلام) (5): جعيد همداني كوفي. وذكر البرقي عند عده من أصحاب الحسن والسجاد (عليهما السلام): أنه كان من أصحاب رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله). روى عن علي بن الحسين (عليهما السلام)، وروى عنه عمران بن أعين. الكافي: الجزء 1، كتاب الحجة 4، باب أن الأئمة (عليهم السلام) إذا أظهر أمرهم حكموا بحكم داود (عليه السلام) 99، الحديث 4.
