جعفر بن محمد بن الحسن: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (139): " الشيخ أبو البحر، جعفر ابن محمد بن حسن بن علي بن ناصر بن عبد الامام الخطي البحراني، عالم، فاضل، أديب، شاعر، جليل، معاصر، يروي عن شيخنا البهائي، له ديوان شعر حسن، رأيته، وقد ذكره السيد علي في سلافة العصر، وأثنى عليه بالفضل، والعلم، والأدب، وأورد له شعرا كثيرا ".
