تاج الدين بن علي: قال الشيخ الحر في أمل الآمل (36): " السيد تاج الدين بن علي بن أحمد الحسيني العاملي، كان عالما، فاضلا، زاهدا، محدثا، عابدا، فقيها، له مؤلفات منها: كتاب التتمة في معرفة الأئمة عليهم السلام، عندي منه نسخة، تاريخ تأليفها سنة 1018، يروي عنه جماعة من مشايخنا، منهم خال والدي، الشيخ علي بن محمود العاملي، ونروي عنهم، عنه إجازة ".
