بشير: وقع في إسناد جملة من الروايات تبلغ أحد عشر موردا. فقد روى عن أبي عبد الله وأبي الحسن عليهما السلام، وعن أبي حمزة وأبي مريم الأنصاري، وابن أبي يعفور، وحريز. وروى عنه ابن أبي عمير، وابنه يحيى، ورشيد، وسويد القلا، وعبد الرحمن ابن حماد الكوفي أبو القاسم، وعلي بن إسماعيل الميثمي، ومحمد بن عيسى، ويحيى بن عمران الحلبي. أقول: هو مشترك بين جماعة، والتمييز إنما هو بالراوي والمروي عنه.
