إسحاق الأنباري: روى عن الجواد عليه السلام، وروى عنه محمد بن عيسى بن عبيد، ذكره الكشي في ترجمة هاشم بن أبي هاشم، وأبي السمهري، وابن أبي الزرقاء، وجعفر ابن واقد، وأبي نمير، (392 - 396)، وفي الرواية دلالة على مدحه، إلا أن راويها هو نفسه فلا يعتمد عليها.
