أحمد بن محمد المعصوم: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (70): " السيد نظام الدين أحمد بن محمد المعصوم الحسيني: عالم، فاضل، عظيم الشأن، جليل القدر، شاعر، أديب، له ديوان شعر، ورسائل متعددة، وذكره ولده السيد علي، في سلافة العصر، وأثنى عليه، ثناءا بليغا، وذكر له شعرا كثيرا، وقد مدحه شعراء زمانه، وكان كالصاحب ابن عباد في عصره. توفي في زماننا بحيدر آباد، وكان مرجع علمائها، وملوكها، وكان بيننا وبينه مكاتبات، ومراسلات ".
