جعفر بن القاسم: روى عن الصادق (عليه السلام). الفقيه: الجزء 2 باب النوادر من مقدمات الحج، الحديث 897. وروى عن محمد بن الوليد الخزاز، وروى عنه محمد بن أحمد. الكافي: الجزء 1، كتاب الحجة 4، باب الغيبة 80، الحديث 21. وطريق الصدوق إليه أبوه، ومحمد بن الحسن رضي الله عنهما -، عن سعد ابن عبد الله ومحمد بن يحيى، وأحمد بن إدريس جميعا، عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، عن أبيه، عن جعفر بن القاسم. والطريق صحيح، لكن جعفر مجهول. وحكى الوحيد، عن خاله: أنه ممدوح، لأن للصدوق إليه طريقا، وتقدم الجواب عن ذلك في المدخل، ويأتي في خالد بن نجيح.
