الهيثم بن محمد الثمالي: قال النجاشي: " هيثم بن محمد الثمالي: كوفي، ثقة، له كتاب. أخبرنا الحسين، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن جعفر، عن حميد، عن إبراهيم بن سليمان، عنه، به ". وقال الشيخ (788): " الهيثم بن محمد الثمالي، له كتاب، أخبرنا به جماعة، عن أبي المفضل، عن حميد، عن أبي إسحاق إبراهيم بن سليمان بن حيان الخزاز، عنه ". والطريق ضعيف بأبي المفضل.
