محمد بن طلحة بن عبيد الله: ابن عثمان بن عمرو بن كعب سعد بن تيم بن مرة، يكنى أبا القاسم، وقيل يكنى أبا سليمان، قتل يوم الجمل في عسكر أهل البصرة، من اصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله، رجال الشيخ (34). أقول: ان ابن داود نسب إلى الشيخ عدة من أصحاب علي عليه السلام وهذا سهو، وأغرب منه أنه عده في القسم الأول (1384) مع أن الرجل من محاربي علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام.
