محمد بن جعفر الطيار: روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام، وروى عنه عبد الله بن بكير. الاستبصار: الجزء 2، باب ما تجب فيه الزكاة، الحديث 9. كذا في بعض النسخ، وفي الأخرى محمد بن الطيار، وهو كذلك في التهذيب: الجزء 4، باب ما تجب فيه الزكاة، الحديث 9. ولا يبعد صحة ما في التهذيب: وعليه فهو محمد بن عبد الله الطيار الآتي، المتحد مع محمد الطيار، الذي عنونه الكشي ويأتي، وحينئذ فلا وجود لمحمد بن جعفر الطيار، وأما محمد بن جعفر بن أبي طالب المتقدم فهو مغاير للمترجم جزما.
