hadith 275
Hadith.5245 - Muhammad ibn Qays narrated from Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that
he said regarding a man who killed his mother: "If he killed her accidentally, he is entitled to a share of her inheritance. However, if he killed her intentionally, he does not inherit anything from her."
5245 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فِي رَجُلٍ قَتَلَ أُمَّهُ قَالَ "إِذَا كَانَ خَطَأً فَإِنَّ لَهُ نَصِيباً مِنْ مِيرَاثِهَا وَ إِنْ كَانَ قَتَلَهَا مُتَعَمِّداً فَلاَ يَرِثُ مِنْهَا شَيْئاً".

hadith 310
Hadith.5280 - Muhammad ibn Qays narrated from one of the two Imams (peace be upon them) about a man who gouged out another man's eye, cut off his nose and ears, and then killed him. Imam (as) said
"If he inflicted these injuries on him separately, then retaliation (qisas) will be taken for each injury, and then he will be killed. But if he struck him with a single blow that resulted in all those injuries, his neck will be struck (he will be executed), and retaliation will not be taken for the individual injuries."
5280 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ
فِي رَجُلٍ فَقَأَ عَيْنَ رَجُلٍ وَ قَطَعَ أَنْفَهُ وَ أُذُنَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَتَلَهُ فَقَالَ "إِنْ كَانَ فَرَّقَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ اُقْتُصَّ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ قُتِلَ وَ إِنْ كَانَ ضَرَبَهُ ضَرْبَةً وَاحِدَةً فَأَصَابَهُ ذَلِكَ ضُرِبَتْ عُنُقُهُ وَ لَمْ يُقْتَصَّ مِنْهُ".

hadith 317
Hadith.5287 - It is narrated from Muhammad ibn Qays from Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) who said
"The Commander of the Faithful (as) ruled concerning a man who lost one of his eyes that an ostrich egg should be taken, and the man's healthy eye should be covered so he cannot see with it. Then, his vision should be measured to its limit, and the distance between the range of his injured eye and his healthy eye should be calculated. Compensation should be paid accordingly based on that measurement."
5287 - وَ رُوِيَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
"قَضَى أَمِيرُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فِي رَجُلٍ أُصِيبَ إِحْدَى عَيْنَيْهِ أَنْ تُؤْخَذَ بَيْضَةُ نَعَامَةٍ فَيُمْشَى بِهَا وَ تُوثَقَ عَيْنُهُ اَلصَّحِيحَةُ حَتَّى لاَ يُبْصِرَ بِهَا وَ يَنْتَهِيَ بَصَرُهُ ثُمَّ يُحْسَبَ مَا بَيْنَ مُنْتَهَى بَصَرِ عَيْنِهِ اَلَّتِي أُصِيبَتْ وَ بَيْنَ عَيْنِهِ اَلصَّحِيحَةِ فَيُؤَدَّى بِحِسَابِ ذَلِكَ".

hadith 46
20.Faḍālah narrated from Qays al-Hilālī, from ʿAjlān Abū Ṣāliḥ who said
“Abū ʿAbdillāh (a) said, ‘Treat people with fairness, assist them with your wealth, and wish for them what you wish for yourself. Remember Allah often and beware of laziness and ennui, for that's what my father used to advise me, and that is what his father would advise him, and it pertains [even more so] to the nightly prayer. Indeed if you are lazy, you will not fulfill the right of Allah and if you are lethargic, you will not fulfill anyone else’s right.’”
فضالة عن قيس الهلالي عن عجلان أبى صالح قال
قال أبو عبد الله عليه السلام انصف الناس من نفسك وواسهم من مالك وارض لهم ما ترضى لنفسك واذكر الله كثيرا وإياك والكسل والضجر فان أبى بذلك كان يوصيني وبذلك كان يوصيه أبوه وذلك في صلاة الليل انك إذا كسلت لم تؤد إلى الله حقه وإذا ضجرت لم تؤد إلى أحد حقه.

23. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Muhammad ibn ‘A’Yun from Qays ibn Salmah from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“Ali ibn al-Husayn would say, ‘After saying these words, I will not be concerned at all even if all men and Jinn gather together against me: “In the name of Allah, with (assistance of) Allah, to Allah, in the way of Allah, and upon the religion of the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant al-Salat (favors) upon Muhammad and his family, O Allah, to You I have submitted my soul, to You I have turned my face, it is You whom 1 have sought for backup and in Your hands 1 have left my affairs, O Lord, protect me with the protection of belief from all directions, the front, back, right, left, above below and before me. Defend me by Your means and power; there are no means and no power without Allah.’”
23ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) يَقُولُ مَا أُبَالِي إِذَا قُلْتُ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ لَوِ اجْتَمَعَ عَلَيَّ الْجِنُّ وَالإنْسُ بِسْمِ الله وَبِالله وَمِنَ الله وَإِلَى الله وَفِي سَبِيلِ الله وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ الله صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ اللهمَّ إِلَيْكَ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَإِلَيْكَ وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي وَإِلَيْكَ أَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي وَإِلَيْكَ فَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي اللهمَّ احْفَظْنِي بِحِفْظِ الإيمَانِ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي وَمِنْ تَحْتِي وَمِنْ قِبَلِي وَادْفَعْ عَنِّي بِحَوْلِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ فَإِنَّهُ لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِالله.

hadith 177
1. We were told by my father, may Allah grant him mercy, that he said: We were told by Ali bin Musa bin Ja’far bin Abi Ja’far al-Kamandani, that he said: We were told by Ahmad bin Muhammed bin Isa al-Ash’ari, that he said: We were told by Abdul-Rahman bin Abi Najran, from ‘Asim bin Hameed, from Muhammed bin Qais, from Abu Ja’far, Muhammed bin Ali al-Baqir, peace be upon him, that he said
Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, revealed to Adam, peace be upon him: O Adam, indeed, I am gathering for you all goodness in four words: one for Me; one for you; one between Me and you; and one between you and the people. As for the one that is for Me, it is that you worship Me, not associating anything with Me; and as for the one that is for you, it is that I reward you for your act by that which you are in most need to; and as for the one that is between Me and you, it is that upon you is to pray and upon Me it is to respond; and as for the one that is between you and the people, it is that you are pleased for the people by that which you are pleased for yourself.
حدثنا أبي - رحمه الله - قال: حدثنا علي بن موسى بن جعفر بن أبي جعفر الكمنداني، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى الأشعري، قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أبي نجران، عن عاصم بن حميد، عن محمد بن قيس، عن أبي جعفر محمد بن علي الباقر عليهم السلام قال
أوحى الله تبارك وتعالى إ��ى آدم عليه السلام: يا آدم إني أجمع لك الخير كله في أربع كلمات: واحدة لي، وواحدة لك، وواحدة، فيما بيني وبينك، وواحدة فيما بينك وبين الناس. فأما التي لي: فتعبدني لا تشرك بي شيئا، وأما التي لك: فأجازيك بعملك أحوج ما تكون إليه، وأما التي بيني وبينك: فعليك الدعاء وعلي الإجابة، وأما التي فيما بينك وبين الناس: فترضى للناس ما ترضى لنفسك.

hadith 188
6. He said: Abu ‘Ali Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Suliy reported to me in the mosque of Baratha, in the year 353, from Abul Aziz ibn Yahya al-Jaloodi, who reported from Muhammad ibn Zakariyya al-Ghalabiy, who reported from Qais ibn Hafs al-Daramiy, who reported from al-Husayn al-Ashqar, from Umar (or Amru) ibn Abdul Ghaffar, from Ishaq ibn al-Fadhl al-Hashimi, who said
"Among the supplications of Amirul Mu’mineen, ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him, there was the following: "O Allah! I seek refuge with you from being hostile to a person who is Your saint; or from being friendly to one who is Your adversary, or to choose Your permanent wrath. O Allah! Our blessings be for those You have blessed, and our curse be upon those You have cursed; O Allah! relieve us by the demise of one whose death is a relief for us and for all the Muslims; and grant us in exchange one who is better for us than he; so that You may show us, by Your acceptance, that which we wish to realize in our faith and in our lives; O Most Merciful among the mercifuls." And may Allah bless our master Muhammad and his progeny.
6 - قال: حدثنا أبو علي أحمد بن محمد الصولي بمسجد براثا سنة اثنتين وخمسين وثلاثمائة قال: حدثنا عبد العزيز بن يحيى الجلودي قال: حدثني محمد بن زكريا الغلابي قال: حدثنا قيس بن حفص الدارمي قال: حدثنا الحسين الأشقر، عن عمر [و] بن عبد الغفار ، عن إسحاق بن الفضل الهاشمي قال
كان من دعاء أمير المؤمنين علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام: " اللهم إني أعوذ بك أن أعادي لك وليا، أو أوالي لك عدوا، أو أرضى لك سخطا أبدا. اللهم من صليت عليه فصلواتنا عليه، ومن لعنته فلعنتنا عليه. اللهم من كان في موته فرح لنا ولجميع المسلمين فأرحنا منه، وأبدل لنا به من هو خير لنا منه حتى ترينا من علم الإجابة ما نتعرفه في أدياننا ومعايشنا يا أرحم الراحمين ". وصلى الله عليه سيدنا محمد النبي وآله وسلم.

Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father (ra) narrated to me. He said: `Ali b. Musa b. Ja`ar b. Abi Ja`far al-Kamandani narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa al-Ash`ari narrated to us. He said: `Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Najran narrated to us from `Asim b. Humayd from Muhammad b. Qays from Abi Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali al-Baqir (as). He said
Allah revealed to Adam (as): O Adam! Surely, I have gathered all goodness for you in four sayings: one of them is for Me, one is for you, one is for that which is between Me and you, and one is for that which is between you and the people. (1) As for the one that is Mine, it is: worship Me and do not associate partners with Me. (2) As for the one that is yours: I will reward you for your work when you are most in need of it. (3) As for the one that is between Me and you: Betake to supplication, and I will betake to its response. (4) As for the one that is between you and the people: Want for the people what you want for yourself.
