علي بن سويد الصنعاني: قال الشيخ (415): " علي بن سويد الصنعاني، له كتاب أخبرنا به جماعة، عن التلعكبري، عن ابن عقدة، عن حميد بن زياد، عن محمد بن زيد، عن أحمد ابن سهل، عنه ". أقول: يحتمل اتحاده مع علي بن سويد الحضرمي المتقدم، فإن حضرموت وصنعاء كليهما من اليمن، ويؤيد ذلك عدم تعرض الشيخ في رجاله للصنعاني، واقتصاره على الحضرمي، وكيف كان فطريق الشيخ إليه ضعيف.
