علي بن الحسين الأصغر: قتل معه (الحسين عليه السلام) أمه ليلى بنت أبي مرة بن عروة بن مسعود ابن معبد الثقفي، وأمها ميمونة بنت أبي سفيان بن حرب، رجال الشيخ (6). أقول: في كون علي بن الحسين هذا أكبر من السجاد سلام الله عليه سنا أو أصغر خلاف بين العلماء، لا مقتضي لنقل الكلمات في ذلك، والذي يظهر من بعض الروايات أنه كان له ولد من أمة وتزوجها السجاد عليه السلام بعد شهادة أخيه، رواها محمد بن يعقوب، عن علي بن إبراهيم، عن أبيه، عن أحمد بن محمد ابن أبي نصر، عن أبي الحسن الرضا عليه السلام. الكافي: الجزء 5، باب الرجل ويتزوج أم ولد أبيها 36، الحديث 1. وكيف كان فهو أول قتيل من نسل خير سليل، وفي وفي زيارة وارث دلالة على جلالته وعظم شأنه، ووقع التسليم عليه في زيارتي الناحية والرجبية وغيرهما.
