علي بن بجيل: (ابن عقيل كوفي)، من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، رجال الشيخ (313). وعده البرقي أيضا من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، قائلا: " علي بن بجيل بن عقيل: كوفي، وهو أخو محمد بن بجيل الآتي ". روى عن جعفر بن محمد عليهما السلام. الفقيه: الجزء 1، باب ما يسجد عليه وما لا يسجد عليه، الحديث 835. وطريق الصدوق إليه: محمد بن الحسن - رضي الله عنه -، عن الحسن بن متيل الدقاق، عن محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب، عن أبي عبد الله الحكم بن مسكين الثقفي، عن علي بن بجيل بن عقيل الكوفي، والطريق ضعيف فإن الحكم بن مسكين لم يرد فيه توثيق.
