حميد الصيرفي: من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، رجال الشيخ (290). وعده البرقي أيضا في أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام. أقول: احتمل بعضهم اتحاده مع حميد بن المثنى المتقدم، إلا أنه بعيد جدا، فإن الشيخ ذكره مستقلا بعدما ذكر حميد بن المثنى، وإن احتمل التكرار في كلامه للفصل بين العنوانين فلا يحتمل ذلك في كلام البرقي، فإنه ذكر حميدا الصيرفي متصلا بحميد بن المثنى العجلي أبى المغراء. روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام، وروى عنه أبو جميلة. الكافي: الجزء 6، كتاب الزي والتجمل والمروءة 8، باب النوادر 68، الحديث 7.
