المظفر بن محمد الخراساني، يكنى أبا الجيش، متكلم له كتب في الإمامة، وكان عارفا بالاخبار، وكان من غلمان أبي سهل النوبختي. فمن كتبه كتاب المثالب، سماه فعلت فلا تلم، كبير، وله كتاب نقض كتاب العثمانية للجاحظ، وكتاب الاعراض والنكت في الإمامة، وغير ذلك. وكان شيخنا المفيد رحمه الله قرأ عليه واخذ عنه.

A theologian who has books on Imamate, knowledgeable in reports, and was one of the pages (ghilman) of Abu Sahl al-Nawbakhti. Among his books is 'Kitab al-Mathalib' (titled 'I Did It So Do Not Blame Me'), 'Naqd Kitab al-'Uthmaniyyah' by al-Jahiz, 'al-A'rad wa al-Nukt fi al-Imamah', and others. Our shaykh al-Mufid (may Allah have mercy on him) read under him and learned from him.
