عمر بن إسماعيل: قال الشيخ (505): " عمر بن إسماعيل له كتاب، أخبرنا به جماعة، عن أبي المفضل، عن ابن بطة، عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، عن عمر بن إسماعيل ". وعده في رجاله من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام (463)، قائلا: " عمر بن إسماعيل الجعفي الكوفي ". أقول: الظاهر اتحاد ما في الفهرست وما في الرجال، والوجه فيه ظاهر. وطريق الشيخ إليه ضعيف بأبي المفضل، وبابن بطة، ويحتمل الارسال أيضا لان رواية أحمد البرقي، عن أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام غير معهودة.
