Imam al-Baqir (AS) said, ‘Everything that the sun shines on becomes purified.

Hadith.1 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said: "All water is pure except for that which you know to be impure."

One of our men followed Abu Tahir Ibn Bilal after the dispute had occurred. Then he turned away from him and returned to our group. I asked him about the reason. He said: One day, I was with Abu Tahir. His brother Abul Tayyib and Ibn Khizr and a group of his followers were present when a servant entered and said: “Abu Ja’far Amari is on the door.” The party was terrified. I asked him what was happening? He said to the slave, “He comes in.” Abu Ja’far came in and the party and Abu Tahir stood for him. He sat at the presidency of the session and Abu Tahir sat humbly before him. Abu Ja’far remained silent until his awe silenced them. Then he said: “Abu Tahir, I call on you by the oath of Allah, did not the Master of the Age (a.s) order you to deliver to me the goods, which are in your hands?” He said: “By Allah, yes.” Abu Ja’far rose and left. A mortal silence had seized the party. When they regained their bearings, his brother Abul Tayyib said: “From where did you see the Master of the Age?” He replied, “Abu Ja’far took me to one of his houses. He appeared to me from the heights of his house and ordered me to deliver the goods, which I am holding, to Abu Ja’far.” Abul Tayyib asked: “How did you know he was the Master of the Age?” “His awe and imposing charisma overwhelmed me and I was overtaken by apprehension from him,” he said: “I did not know he was the Master of the Age (a.s).” This was the reason of my disassociation from them.

There are many people like Abu Tahir Muhammad bin Ali bin Bilal and others by whose mention we would not prolong the book since they are famous and well known and they are mentioned in other books as well.

1 – Ṭāhir b. Ḥātim b. Māhawayh, al-Qazwīnī, the brother of Fāris. He was corrupt in madhhab, weak. He had been in an upright state, as had been his brother, however it did not bear fruit.

Hadith.732 – Zurarah asked Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) about urine that is present on a rooftop or in a place where one prays. Imam (as) said: "If the sun dries it, then you may pray on it, for it is purified”.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘All water is clean until it is found out that it is not clean.”’

Hadith.3121 - It was said to Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as): "A man had blood on his garment, of a type that invalidates prayer, and he performed Tawaf in that garment." Imam (as) said: "His Tawaf is valid, but he should then remove the garment and pray in a pure garment."

I will guarantee Paradise for whoever accepts five things.’ They asked him (MGB), ‘What are those things?’ The Prophet (MGB) said, ‘Being sincerely obedient to God; well-wishing for the Prophet (MGB); preaching the Quran and God’s religion and well-wishing for the Muslims.”

“Once I was in the presence of abu Ja‘far (a.s.) that Ja‘far (a.s.) came. Abu Ja‘far (a.s.) said, “This (Ja‘far) is the best of the people.”

“Once I was in the presence of Abu Ja‘far (a.s.) when Ja‘far (a.s.) came. Abu Ja‘far (a.s.) said, “He (Ja‘far) is the best of the people or the best of best among them.”

“Once I was in the presence of Abu Ja‘far (a.s.) when Ja‘far (a.s.) came. Abu Ja‘far (a.s.) said, “This (Ja‘far ) is the best of the people.”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, that all water (from source) is clean until it is found out that it is not clean.”

“Once abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), looked at a man who had dressed in a shirt that dragged on the ground. He (the Imam) said, ‘This cloth is not clean.’”

“I once asked one of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘ Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about the case of a man who divorces his wife three times in one place and time or [more] when she is clean of Hayd (menses). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is only one.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, has said in His book, ‘Cleanse My house for those who perform Tawaf, and Ttikaf, those who do Ruku‘ and those who do Sajdah therein.’ (22:28) A servant (of Allah) should not enter Makkah without cleansing, washing his perspiration and so on and without purification.’”

And among them Abu Tahir Muhammad bin Ali bin Bilal: His story and what happened between him and Abu Ja’far Muhammad Ibn Uthman Amari, may Allah lighten his visage, is well-known. He seized the goods of the Imam, which were in his hands and refused to deliver them, and claimed that he was the representative. The community turned away from him and invoked damnation for him and the famous letter came from the Master of the Age (a.s).

“I once asked abu al-Hassan, al-Awwal (a.s.), about the case of a woman who finds herself Hayd (menses) free just before sunset. What must she do for Salah (prayer)? He (the Imam) said, ‘If she finds herself Hayd (menses) free after four steps have passed from noon-time, she only performs al-‘Asr Salah (prayer). It is because the time for al-Dhuhr Salah (prayer) arrived when she was not Hayd (menses) free and it passed when she still was not Hayd (menses) free so it is not obligatory for her to perform al-Dhuhr Salah (prayer). It is because Allah has exempted her from Salah (prayer) when she was most of the time bleeding? He (the Imam) then said, ‘If a woman finds blood discharge after four steps from the time for al-Dhuhr passed, she must stop performing Salah (prayer). However, when she becomes Hayd (menses) free she must compensatory prayer that al-Dhuhr Salah (prayer) because it was time for al-Dhuhr when she was Hayd (menses)-free. It (time) passed while she was Hayd (menses)-free, so she lost al-Dhuhr Salah (prayer). Therefore she must compensatory prayer it.’”

H 172 - Ali bin Muhammad bin Ziyad Saymoori said: I came to Abu Ahmad Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin Tahir; there was a letter of Imam Hasan Askari (a.s) before him and it was written therein: I prayed to Almighty Allah against this transgressor [Mustaeen] and God’s fury would overtake him after three days. On the third day, Mustaeen was divested of Caliphate and killed.

14 – al-Ḥusayn b. Muḥammad b. Yaḥyā b. al-Ḥasan, Abū Muḥammad, al-ʿAlāwī, al-Ḥusaynī, known as Ibn Abī Ṭāhir. He was a liar. He openly fabricated ḥadīths. He claimed strange rijāl who are not recognized. He depended on unknown narrators who are not mentioned. None of his narrations are good except for what he narrated from the books of his grandfather, which others apart than him have narrated, and from ʿAlī b. Aḥmad b. ʿAlī al-ʿAqīqī, from his famous written books.
