الحسين بن مخلد: قال الشيخ (212): " الحسين بن مخلد، له كتاب رويناه بالاسناد الأول، عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، عن أبيه، عن الحسين بن مخلد ". وأراد بالاسناد الأول: عدة من أصحابنا، عن أبي المفضل، عن ابن بطة، عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله. وعده في رجاله من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام (313)، قائلا: الحسين ابن مخلد بن إلياس، خزاز. وعده البرقي، أيضا من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، قائلا: من فزارة (ابن فزارة). وطريق الشيخ إليه ضعيف بأبي المفضل، وبابن بطة.
