أبو يعقوب الجعفي: قال الشيخ (834): " أبو يعقوب الجعفي، له كتاب، رويناه بهذا الاسناد، عن حميد، عن أحمد بن ميثم، عنه ". وأراد بهذا الاسناد: جماعة، عن أبي المفضل، عن حميد. وذكر المولى عناية الله القهبائي عن النجاشي، أنه قال: " أبو يعقوب الجعفي، كوفي، له كتاب يرويه أحمد بن ميثم، أخبرنا الحسين بن عبيد الله، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن جعفر، قال: حدثنا حميد، عن أحمد بن ميثم، قال: حدثنا أبو يعقوب بكتابه ". أقول: لا يوجد هذا في بقية النسخ. وكيف كان، فطريق الشيخ إليه ضعيف بأبي المفضل.
