أبو ساسان كوفي، روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام. له كتاب. أخبرنا محمد بن عثمان، عن جعفر بن محمد، عن عبيدالله بن أحمد بن نهيك قال: حدثنا علي بن الحسن الطاطري قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي حمزة، عن أبي ساسان بكتابه.

أبو ساسان: قال النجاشي: " أبو ساسان: كوفي، روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام، له كتاب، أخبرنا محمد بن عثمان، عن جعفر بن محمد، عن عبيد الله بن أحمد بن نهيك، قال: حدثنا علي بن الحسن الطاطري، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي حمزة، عن أبي ساسان بكتابه ". أقول: لا يبعد أنه هشام بن السري، الذي تقدم عن رجال الشيخ في أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام. وعده البرقي في أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، قائلا: " أبو ساسان، روى عنه يونس بن يعقوب ".
