محمد بن الحداد: الكوفي: روى عنه حكم بن سليمان، من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، رجال الشيخ (401). قال النجاشي: " محمد الحداد الكوفي: صاحب المعلى بن خنيس، له كتاب يرويه محمد بن أبي عمير، أخبرنا ابن نوح، عن ابن حمزة، عن ابن بطة، عن الصفار، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عنه، به ". وعده ابن داود، في القسم الأول (1315)، ولعله مبني على أصالة العدالة، وربما يستدل على وثاقته، برواية ابن أبي عمير عنه، ولكن قد عرفت غير مرة عدم صحة ذلك، مضافا إلى عدم ثبوت رواية ابن أبي عمير عنه، فإن طريق النجاشي إلى ذلك ضعيف، بابن بطة.
