محمد بن أبي إسحاق: قال النجاشي: " محمد بن أبي إسحاق: متكلم، ذكره ابن بطة، وذكر أن له مصنفات عدة، وقال: أخبرنا أحمد بن محمد بن خالد، عنه ". وقال الشيخ (694): " محمد بن إسحاق القمي: له كتب في الكلام والاخبار. أخبرنا بها جماعة، عن أبي المفضل، عن ابن بطة، عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، عنه ". وعده في رجاله فيمن لم يرو عنهم عليهم السلام (122)، قائلا: " محمد بن إسحاق القمي: روى عنه أحمد بن أبي عبد الله ". أقول: المذكور في النجاشي: محمد بن أبي إسحاق كما مر، وعليه فكلمة (أبي) إما أنها زيدت في كلامه، أو أنها نقصت من كلام الشيخ في كتابيه، والمظنون قويا أنها زيدت في كلام النجاشي، وذلك بقرينة عدم وجودها في كلام البرقي أيضا، فإنه ذكر محمد بن إسحاق القمي في أصحاب الجواد عليه السلام، وكذلك ذكره الشيخ على ما في نسخة السيد التفريشي، والميرزا، والمولى القهبائي. وطريق الشيخ إليه ضعيف.
