عمر بن سالم: قال النجاشي: " عمر بن سالم، صاحب السابري، كوفي، وأخوه حفص ثقتان، رويا عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام. لعمر كتاب، يرويه جماعة. أخبرنا محمد بن عثمان بن الحسن، عن جعفر بن محمد، عن عبيد الله بن أحمد، عن محمد بن زياد، عنه، به ". وقال الشيخ (510): " عمر بن سالم له كتاب، أخبرنا به جماعة، عن أبي المفضل، عن حميد، عن ابن نهيك، عنه، ورواه التلعكبري، عن ابن عقدة، عن أحمد بن عمر بن كيسبة، عن الطاطري، عن محمد بن زياد، عنه ". وعده في رجاله من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، قائلا: " عمر بن سالم البزاز صاحب السابري، كوفي " (477) وطريق الشيخ إليه ضعيف. روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام، وروى عنه حفص. التهذيب: الجزء 4، باب علامة أول شهر رمضان وآخره، الحديث 477، وباب فضل صيام يوم الشك، الحديث 501، والاستبصار: الجزء 2، باب ذكر جمل من الاخبار..، الحديث 233، إلا أن فيه: حفص بن عمر بن سالم، بدل حفص عن عمر بن سالم وما في التهذيب موافق للكافي: الجزء 4، كتاب الصيام 2، باب الأهلة والشهادة عليها 6، الحديث 9، والوافي والوسائل أيضا.
