Abu Amr Uthman bin Saeed Amari, He was the first emissary during the period of occultation, who was appointed to this position by Imam Hadi and Imam Hasan Askari (a.s). He was a trusted elder of the society. His name was Abu Amr Uthman bin Saeed Amari, may Allah have mercy on him. He belonged to the Asadi tribe, but was named as Amari.
فأولهم: من نصبه أبوالحسن علي بن محمد العسكري وأبومحمد الحسن بن علي بن محمد إبنه عليهم السلام، وهو الشيخ الموثوق به أبوعمرو عثمان بن سعيد العمري رحمه الله وكان أسديا وإنما سمي العمري:

3. Ali ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah has narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Ali ibn Muhammad al-Qasaniy from those who narrated to him from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Qasim al-Ja‘fariy from his father who has said the following
“When fruits ripened the Holy prophet would command to open gaps in the walls (of the gardens for people passing by).”’
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَاسَانِيِّ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الثِّمَارُ أَمَرَ بِالْحِيطَانِ فَثُلِمَتْ.

4. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following
“’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘Moderation leads to increase, and extravagance leads to destruction.’”

5. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Fath, Mawla (slave) of al-Zurari who has said the following.
“I heard abu Ali ibn Mutahhar saying that has seen him (the twelfth Imam) and would describe his (Imam’s) figure.”

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَلِيِّ بْنَ مُطَهَّرٍ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ رَآهُ وَوَصَفَ لَهُ قَدَّهُ.

8. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad through the same chain of his narrators has said following: “He (the Imam) has said, ‘
The excellence of performing Salah (prayer) in the center of the rows over that in the left is like the excellence of performing Salah (prayer) in congregation over performing Salah (prayer) alone individually.’”
8ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ
قَالَ فَضْلُ مَيَامِنِ الصُّفُوفِ عَلَى مَيَاسِرِهَا كَفَضْلِ الْجَمَاعَةِ عَلَى صَلاَةِ الْفَرْدِ.

After Shaykh Abul Qasim Husain bin Rauh, Abul Hasan Ali bin Muhammad Saymoori succeeded to the post of the deputyship of Imam Mahdi (a.s) and with his death ended the special deputyship of Imam (a.s). Only these four were channels of contact with the Imam of the Time (a.s).

11. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from certain persons of his people from al-Washsha’ from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A deceased is not shrouded in black.’”
11ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
لاَ يُكَفَّنُ الْمَيِّتُ بِالسَّوَادِ.

“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘People say shaving of the head is like causing deformity.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is like performing al-‘Umrah for us and deformity for our enemies.’”

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ النَّاسَ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ حَلْقَ الرَّأْسِ مُثْلَةٌ فَقَالَ عُمْرَةٌ لَنَا وَ مُثْلَةٌ لِأَعْدَائِنَا .

الْعَقْلُ دَلِيلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ.

20. ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad said: A man from the people of Ābah carried something to deliver (to the office of the Imam (AS)), but forgot a sword in Ābah. He sent what he had with him (the delivery was made), and a letter was written to him, asking: "What about the sword that you forgot?"
20ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَمَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ آبَةَ شَيْئاً يُوصِلُهُ وَنَسِيَ سَيْفاً بِ‏آبَةَ فَأَنْفَذَ مَا كَانَ مَعَهُ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ مَا خَبَرُ السَّيْفِ الَّذِي نَسِيتَهُ.
