عبد الله بن عطاء: قال النجاشي: " عبد الله بن عطاء كوفي، قليل الحديث، له كتاب. أخبرنا الحسين، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن جعفر، قال: حدثنا حميد، قال: حدثنا محمد بن موسى، عن عبد الله بن عطاء بكتابه ". وقال الشيخ (453): " عبد الله بن عطاء له كتاب، أخبرنا جماعة، عن أبي المفضل، عن حميد، عن محمد بن موسى خوراء، عنه ". أقول: لم يتعرض له الشيخ في الرجال! ولم يظهر وجهه وإنما تعرض لعبد الله بن عطاء المكي الذي هو من أصحاب السجاد والباقر والصادق (عليهم السلام)، ولا يمكن اتحادهما لاختلافهما في البلد والطبقة. وكيف كان، فطريق الشيخ إليه ضعيف بأبي المفضل.
