3. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd ibn Ḥukaym narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from Mansūr ibn ‘Abbās, who narrated that
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: The sacred boundary of the grave of Ḥusain (a.s.) is five parasangs from each of the four sides of the grave.
3 حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ
حَرَمُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) خَمْسُ فَرَاسِخَ مِنْ أَرْبَعَةِ جَوَانِبِ الْقَبْرِ

9. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali, from ‘Alā ibn Razīn Al-Qallā, from Muḥammad ibn Muslim, who said
Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: Any believer who cries over Ḥusain (a.s.) with (even) one tear running down his cheek will be rewarded by Allāh for that tear; he will be made to dwell in rooms in Paradise where he will stay for long ages.
9 حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ الْقَلَّاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ
أَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ دَمَعَتْ عَيْنَاهُ لِقَتْلِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) دَمْعَةً حَتَّى تَسِيلَ عَلَى خَدِّهِ بَوَّأَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا غُرَفاً فِي الْجَنَّةِ يَسْكُنُهَا أَحْقَاباً

hadith 226
12. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd ibn Ḥukaym narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from Muḥammad ibn Abī ‘Umayr, from Ḥusain ibn ‘Isā, from Aslam ibn Qāsim, from ‘Umar ibn Wahab, from his father, who said
‘Ali ibn Ḥusain (Imam Sajjād (a.s.)) said, “The heavens have never wept over anyone since the day they were created except for Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyā (a.s.) and Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.).” I asked, “How did the heavens weep?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “If you would have faced (the wind) with a garment, you would have seen something similar to a red mist of blood on it.”
12 حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَسْلَمَ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ [عَمْرُو بْنُ ثُبَيْتٍ] عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) قَالَ
إِنَّ السَّمَاءَ لَمْ تَبْكِ مُنْذُ وُضِعَتْ إِلَّا عَلَى يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا وَ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّع قُلْتُ أَيَّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ بُكَاؤُهَا قَالَ كَانَتْ إِذَا اسْتُقْبِلَتْ بِثَوْبٍ وَقَعَ عَلَى الثَّوْبِ شِبْهُ أَثَرِ الْبَرَاغِيثِ مِنَ الدَّمِ

4. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd ibn Ḥukaym narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from Bakkār ibn Aḥmad Al-Qassām, and from Ḥasan ibn ‘Abdil Wāḥid, from Makhūl ibn Ibrāhīm, from Rabī’ ibn Mundhir, from his father, who said
I heard ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain (Imam Sajjād (a.s.)) say: One who cries over us and sheds (even) one tear over us will be rewarded by Allāh for that tear; he will be made to dwell in rooms in Paradise where he will stay for long ages and long ages.
4 حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحَكِيمِ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَكَّارُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْقَسَّامُ وَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ عَنْ مُخَوَّلِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ مُنْذِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) يَقُولُ مَنْ قَطَرَتْ عَيْنَاهُ فِينَا قَطْرَةً وَ دَمَعَتْ عَيْنَاهُ فِينَا دَمْعَةً بَوَّأَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ غُرَفاً يَسْكُنُهَا أَحْقَاباً وَ أَحْقَاباً حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ وَهْبِ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) يَقُولُ وَ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازِ سَوَاءً

hadith 259
8. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd narrated to me from Salamah, from Ya’qūb ibn Yazīd, from Ibn Abī ‘Umayr, from Bakr ibn Muḥammad, from Fuďayl ibn Yasār, who said
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: The sins of whoever cries, even as little as (the width of) the wing of a fly, when we are mentioned in front of him will be forgiven, even if his sins are greater than the scum in the sea. The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh, from his father, from Aḥmad ibn Abī ‘Abdillāh Al-Barqi, from his father, from Bakr ibn Muḥammad, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (a.s.).
8 حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ
مَنْ ذُكِرْنَا عِنْدَهُ فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاهُ وَ لَوْ مِثْلَ جَنَاحِ بَعُوضَةٍ [الذُّبَابِ] غُفِرَ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَ لَوْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) مِثْلَهُ

hadith 261
10. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd narrated to me from Salamah, from ‘Ali ibn Sayf, from Bakr ibn Muḥammad, from Fuďayl ibn/and Faďālah, who said
Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Allāh has made it Ḥarām for Hell to burn the face of anyone who sheds tears (on us) when we are mentioned in his presence.
10 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَيْفٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ فُضَيْلٍ بن [زائد [وَ] فَضَالَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ
مَنْ ذُكِرْنَا عِنْدَهُ فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاهُ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ عَلَى النَّارِ
