رجاء بن يحيى بن سلمان أبو الحسين العبرتائي الكاتب روى عن أبي الحسن علي بن محمد صاحب العسكر [ عليه السلام ] وقيل إن سبب وصلته كانت به: أن يحيى بن سامان وكل برفع خبر أبي الحسن [ عليه السلام ] وكان إماميا فحظيت منزلته وروى رجاء رسالة تسمى المقنعة في أبواب الشريعة، رواها عنه أبو المفضل الشيباني.

رجاء بن يحيى: قال النجاشي: " رجاء بن يحيى بن سامان، أبو الحسين العبرتائي الكاتب: روى عن أبي الحسن علي بن محمد صاحب العسكر عليه السلام، وقيل: إن سبب وصلته كانت به، أن يحيى بن سامان وكل برفع خبر أبي الحسن عليه السلام وكان إماميا فحظيت منزلته. وروى رجاء رسالة تسمى المقنعة في أبواب الشريعة، رواها عنه أبو المفضل الشيباني ". وقال الشيخ في رجاله في أصحاب الهادي عليه السلام (2): " رجاء العبرتائي بن يحيى، يكنى أبا الحسين، روى عنه أبو المفضل محمد بن عبد الله بن المطلب الشيباني، أخبرنا عنه جماعة من أصحابنا ". أقول: وقع الرجل في طريق النجاشي إلى محمد بن الحسن بن شمون، وقال النجاشي: إنه طريق مظلم.
