hadith 370
3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah ibn Mehran who has said the following: “I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about the case of a woman who is divorced and about where she must complete her waiting period. He (the Imam) said, ‘
She completes her waiting period in her house and must not go out. If she wants to visit she must go after midnight but not during the day. She does not have the right to perform al-Hajj until her waiting period is complete.’ I asked about one whose husband dies; if her case is the same. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, it is the same but she can perform al-Hajj if she wants.’”
حُمَيْدٌ عَنِ ابْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سِرْحَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مِثْلَهُ .عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ أَيْنَ تَعْتَدُّ قَالَ فِي بَيْتِهَا لَا تَخْرُجُ وَ إِنْ أَرَادَتْ زِيَارَةً خَرَجَتْ بَعْدَ نِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ وَ لَا تَخْرُجُ نَهَاراً وَ لَيْسَ لَهَا أَنْ تَحُجَّ حَتَّى تَنْقَضِيَ عِدَّتُهَاوَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا أَ كَذَلِكَ هِيَ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَ تَحُجُّ إِنْ شَاءَتْ .

hadith 614
13. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn abu Nasr from Dawud ibn Sarhan who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, T accept testimony of women about a boy who cried or did not cry, and about everything to which men cannot look, the testimony of women is acceptable.’”
13- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سِرْحَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
أُجِيزُ شَهَادَةَ النِّسَاءِ فِي الْغُلامِ صَاحَ أَمْ لَمْ يَصِحْ وَفِي كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ لا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ الرِّجَالُ تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ النِّسَاءِ فِيهِ.

7. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from Dawud ibn Sarhan who has said the following: “About a man who dies on a journey or a strage land and there is no one other than women with him, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘
He is buried without Ghusl (bath).’ He (the Imam) said that the same rule applies to woman in such condition unless her husband is among them, in which case he gives her Ghusl (bath) from behind the shield and pours water in a large amount on her body. A wife can give him Ghusl (bath) if he (her husband) dies. Women are different from men. Women are in a worse condition when they die.’”
7ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سِرْحَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) فِي الرَّجُلِ يَمُوتُ فِي السَّفَرِ أَوْ فِي أَرْضٍ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ فِيهَا إِلاَّ النِّسَاءُ قَالَ
يُدْفَنُ وَلاَ يُغَسَّلُ وَقَالَ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَكُونُ مَعَ الرِّجَالِ بِتِلْكَ الْمَنْزِلَةِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ مَعَهَا زَوْجُهَا فَإِنْ كَانَ مَعَهَا زَوْجُهَا فَلْيُغَسِّلْهَا مِنْ فَوْقِ الدِّرْعِ وَيَسْكُبُ عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ سَكْباً وَلْتُغَسِّلْهُ امْرَأَتُهُ إِذَا مَاتَ وَالْمَرْأَةُ لَيْسَتْ مِثْلَ الرَّجُلِ الْمَرْأَةُ أَسْوَأُ مَنْظَراً حِينَ تَمُوتُ.

hadith 640
Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Abi Nasr al-Bazanti from Dawud b. Sarhan. He said
Abu `Abdillah (as) said: It is not appropriate for a woman to be without ornament, even if she just hangs a necklace on her neck. It is not appropriate for her to leave off dyeing her hand, even if she just wipes it once with henna, even if she has aged.
6 - حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى العطار، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن أحمد بن محمد بن أبي نصر البزنطي، عن داود بن سرحان قال
قال أبو عبد الله (عليه السلام): لا ينبغي للمرأة أن تعطل نفسها، ولو أن تعلق في عنقها قلادة، ولا ينبغي أن تدع يدها من الخضاب، ولو أن تمسها بالحناء مسا، وإن كانت مسنة (4).
