جلبة بن عياض أبو الحسن الليثي أخو أبي ضمرة، ثقة، قليل الحديث. له كتاب. أخبرنا ابن نوح وغيره عن أبي محمد الحسن بن حمزة الحسيني قال: حدثنا ابن بطة قال: حدثنا ما جيلويه والصفار ومحمد بن علي بن محبوب عن هارون بن مسلم عنه به.

جلبة بن عياض: قال النجاشي: " جلبة بن عياض، أبو الحسن الليثي، أخو أبي ضمرة ثقة، قليل الحديث، له كتاب. أخبرنا ابن نوح وغيره، عن أبي محمد الحسن بن حمزة الحسيني، قال: حدثنا ابن بطة، قال: حدثنا ماجيلويه، والصفار، ومحمد بن علي بن محبوب، عن هارون ابن مسلم، عنه، به ". وقال الشيخ في الكنى (839): " أبو الحسن الليثي، له كتاب. أخبرنا به ابن أبي جيد، عن محمد بن الحسن، عن عبد الله بن جعفر الحميري، عن هارون بن مسلم، عنه، عن رجاله ". والطريق صحيح وإن كان فيه ابن أبي جيد، فإنه ثقة على الأظهر.
