5. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from ‘Ubdus ibn Ibrahim al-Baghdadiy in a marfu‘ manner has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Applying henna dispels bad odor, increases beauty of the face, sweetens the fragrance and beautifies the child.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ عُبْدُوسِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَغْدَادِيِّ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
الْحِنَّاءُ يَذْهَبُ بِالسَّهَكِ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي مَاءِ الْوَجْهِ وَ يُطَيِّبُ النَّكْهَةَ وَ يُحَسِّنُ الْوَلَدَ .

“I once heard abu al-Hassan (a.s.), saying, ‘Remove hairs from yourselves; it beautifies.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّهِيكِيِّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ أَلْقُوا عَنْكُمُ الشَّعْرَ فَإِنَّهُ يُحَسِّنُ .

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Musa ibn al-Qasim from Safwan from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Applying eye powder to one’s eyes is beneficial to the eyes and it is beautification during the day.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
الْكُحْلُ بِاللَّيْلِ يَنْفَعُ الْعَيْنَ وَ هُوَ بِالنَّهَارِ زِينَةٌ .

6. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father from al-Hassan ibn Bahr from Mehzam al-Asadiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When you take oil in your palm, say, ‘O Lord, I ask You to grant me grace, beauty and love. I ask from You protection against abhorrence, disgrace and anger.’ Then place it on your forehead and say whatever you can.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ بَحْرٍ عَنْ مِهْزَمٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
إِذَا أَخَذْتَ الدُّهْنَ عَلَى رَاحَتِكَ فَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الزَّيْنَ وَ الزِّينَةَ وَ الْمَحَبَّةَ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْنِ وَ الشَّنَآنِ وَ الْمَقْتِ ثُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ عَلَى يَأْفُوخِكَ ابْدَأْ بِمَا بَدَأَ اللَّهُ بِهِ .
