إسحاق بن جندب أبو إسماعيل الفرائضي، ثقة ثقة، روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام. ذكره أصحابنا في الرجال. له كتاب رواه عنه عبيس وغيره أخبرنا أحمد بن عبد الواحد عن علي بن حبشي، عن حميد، قال: حدثنا أبو جعفر أحمد بن الحسن بن علي البصري عن عبيس عنه.
