31-256 According to the same documentation, on the authority of Ali (a.s.), “Regarding the Honorable the Exalted God’s words in the following verse, ‘…(that should hear the tale and) retain its memory should bear its (lessons) in remembrance,’ God’s Prophet said, ‘
I asked God to establish that to be your ears.’”
256 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ
قالَالنَّبِي‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ فِي قَوْلَهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: (وَتَعِيَها أُذُنٌ واعِيَةٌ) قالَ: دَعَوْتُ اللَّه أَن يَجعَلَها أُذُنَكَ يا عَلِيُّ.
