Hadith 202

31-202 Al-Husayn ibn Ahmad ibn Idris - may God be pleased with him - narrated that his father quoted on the authority of Abi Ja’far Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Malik al-Kufi, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Mada’eni, on the authority of Fadhl ibn Kathir that Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) said, "
Whoever sees a poor person and greets him in a manner different from that with which he greets a rich man will visit God on the Resurrection Day while God is angry with him."
202 - حَدَّثَنا الحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدِ بْنِ إِدْرِيس رَضِىَ اللهُعَنْهُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا أَبي، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مالِكَ الكُوفِيّ، قالَ: حَدَّثَني مُحَمَّد بْنِ أحْمَد المَدائِنيّ، عَنْ فَضْلِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْن مُوسَى الرِّضا عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ
مَن لَقيَ فَقيراً مُسلِماً فَسَلِّمَ عَلَيْهِ خِلافً سَلامِه عَلَى الأَغنِياءِ لَقِيَ اللَّه عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ القِيامَةِ وَهُوَعَلَيْهِ غَضْبان.
