28-85 Abdul Wahid Muhammad ibn Ubdoos al-Neishaburi al-Attar -may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Qutaybaquoted on the authority of Hamdan ibn Soleiman al-Neishaboori, on the authority of Abdul Salam ibn Salih al-Harawi that he had heard Abul Hassan Ali ibn Musa Al-Ridha (s) say, “
The acts of the people are created.” Abdul Salam ibn Salih al-Harawi asked the Imam (s), “O son of the Prophet of God! What does created mean?” The Imam (s) said, “It means they are destined.”
85 - حَدَّثَنا عَبْد الواحِدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدُوسٍ النِيْسابُوري العَطَّار رَضـِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قـالَ:حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ عَنْ حَمْدانَ سُلَيْمان النِيْسابُوري، عَن عَبْد السَّلامُ بْنِ صالِح الهَرَوِيِّ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الحَسَن عَلِىِّ بْنِ مُوسَى الرِّضا عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ يَقُولُ أَفْعَالُ الْعِبَادِ مَخْلُوقَةٌ فَقُلْتُ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ مَا مَعْنَى مَخْلُوقَةٌ قَالَ مُقَدَّرَةٌ.
