Hadith 970

2. And from the previous chain from Ali b. al-Hakam from Ismail b. Muhammad from his grandfather Ziyad from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said
“Most of the evil thoughts are due to eating mud. Surely, eating mud causes many diseases. It makes a person ill soon and the strength present before no longer remains in the body. Good deeds performed by him earlier are deducted. Deeds performed by him during his weakness and strength will be accounted for and he will be involved in chastisement.”
