Hadith 954

3. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hussain b. al-Hassan b. Aban from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Ibn Abi ’Umayr from Ismail b. Salim from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said
“Because his condition becomes such that he cannot recognize his Lord.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیلَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ
سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ أَصْلَحَکَ اللَّهُ شُرْبُ الْخَمْرِ شَرٌّ أَمْ تَرْکُ الصَّلَاهِ فَقَالَ شُرْبُ الْخَمْرِ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَ تَدْرِی لِمَ ذَاکَ قَالَ لَا قَالَ لِأَنَّهُ یَصِیرُ فِی حَالٍ لَا یَعْرِفُ رَبَّهُ.
